Why Did my Performance Score Drop?

Athlete Support - Rich Houseman -

Your results from events over the past 12 months.  You get points based on how big and competitive the event is, the class/division you competed in and what place you finished.
Reasons Your Performance Can Drop:
  • For your score we only look at results from the last 365 days. After 365 days results are retired from your score inhales that you attended that same event this year and came out with better results to improve your score.
  • Events are weighted differently, in some cases an event you attended two years in a row may be weighted differently from one year to the next causing a change in score.
  • If over the course of a year you are attending less events or not improving your results compared to the last year then your score may drop.
  • If you are participating in less classes that in previous years this may affect your performance score.
Please keep in mind that all these factors are weighted differently and the Hookit Score is deigned to fluctuate depending on how active you are in your sport.
How to improve: Compete more often at the best events and make sure your results are posted to your Hookit account.  For full points, results must be verified by the promoter.
Note: a green check mark next to your event result means it was Auto verified and uploaded. If you don't see an event you attended on the site posted as verified don't worry, we are constantly working to help new promoters get their results on the site.  Tell your promoter to contact us at https://hookit.wufoo.com/forms/new-promoter-application/!
